You don't need to 'open' license certificate file(sai-01xxxxxxxxxx.slc), SAI automatically recognize user's license information if the license certificate file is located in SAI installed folder.

If the license certificate file not recognized, considerable reasons are
- The license certificate file ("sai-01xxxxxxxxxx.slc") not located in SAI installation folder.
SAI installation folder includes all of application files and you can find this folder with "Search Target"(Windows XP) button or "Open File Location"(Windows Vista) button in property (right clicking menu) of desktop shortcut icon of SAI, you need to put the license certificate file in this folder.
- Inputted System ID was wrong.
If the license certificate file contains bad System ID, SAI simply ignore this wrong license certificate file. You need to input your own System ID for downloading the license certificate file, your own System ID is shown [Others]>[System ID] menu of this application.
'Certificate Download Password' is written in the mail that you received after order completion, and never type 'Password Character Type' fields written in the mail.
- After the license certificate file was placed in SAI installation folder, without restarting SAI application.
The license certificate file is recognized at the application starting, so after you placed the license certificate file, you need to restart all of SAI applications again, but you don't need to restart Windows.
- Software package ("sai-1.0.x.zip") wasn't extracted (only for Ver.1.0.x).
You may use software package ("sai-1.0.x.zip") without extract all files in package, and accessed compressed application directly. If you use Windows XP or later, you can extract sai-1.x.x.zip with right-click menu, or on other versions of Windows, you need to use some archiver software which support Zip format extraction.
We sometimes receive questions how to 'open' the license certificate file, but if the license certificate file was placed same location of SAI installation folder, SAI recognize the license information automatically, then you don't need to 'open' the license certificate file.

Development version before Ver.1.0.0. has no System ID menu, this is for production version of SAI. If you use Ver.1.0.0 or later, you can find it in [Others] > [System ID], please download SAI Ver.1.0.0 or later.

Development version before Ver.1.0.0 don't recognize any license certificate files, this future is supported Ver.1.0.0. or later, please download SAI Ver.1.0.0. or later.

Q.Can I use SAI application without network connection.

Yes, first you need to download the license certificate file via network connected PC, you need to input [Your PC's System ID] is shown in non-connected PC, and then copy this license certificate file to non-connected PC's SAI folder via USB memory etc.
If you only use as trial, any network connection isn't required at all.

No, you don't need to order the license again, once you ordered user license, you receive license no. and password for downloading the license certificate file, when you change your PC or re-install your OS, you can use same license no. and password for downloading the new license certificate file.

Q.When new version of SAI released, I should buy new software license again?
|
If same major no. of SAI Ver.1.x.x (example, Ver.1.1.0, Ver.1.5.0, etc...) you don't need to order the license again, but in future if upper major version of SAI like Ver.2.x.x will be released, you will need upgrade fee(this will be lower cost than ordering again), we think. but currently we have no more decision or plan about them.

When you exchanged some devices on your PC, System ID is changed for the license certificate file. Please input new System ID from online form and download new license certificate file for your PC.

You can find trial version of this software from [Download & Installation] section, if the license informations is not found, this software will work as trial mode.
